life in India (as in many other places) ... as usual in the so called Third World, women and children carry the heaviest burdens ... Not just that, it was about 40ºC and the ventilator was pointing to the man, and in a fixed position.

Viviendo como en los tiempos de Cristo

En los templos de la Jerusalém de África (en Lalibela, Etiopia) los monjes y gente devota vive como en los tiempos de Cristo, y en todos los sentidos. Y no por opción ni penitencia, sino porque ahí, así es la vida.

Una de las tejedoras de los templos -tejen los hábitos de los monjes Coptos ( Iglesia Unitaria Ortodoxa Etíope)- cavados bajo el suelo en durísimas piedras. Su piel se asemeja a las paredes que se ven detrás.
